What’s up guys, I’m a first-timer on the tech board.my daughter threw my iPhone, hit my watch, cracked the screen.
It’s an iPhone 8 regular size.my question is: where to get it replaced for the best price? And should I just disregard fixing it and get the new one?
I don’t think it’ll be that much of a difference on my bill but I have no clue since it’s been a while since I’ve purchased a new phone .thanks fellas

My wife broke a screen on her 7Plus.
We went to a non official Apple place to get it fixed. Forget how much it cost. Like 60-80 or so. but you could tell a for certain difference in the screen. Colors were slightly off and so was the touch.
But IMo perfect reason to get a newer phone. Ditching the home button was the best thing iphones ever did. I just have a XR and its all i need. But couldnt imagine going back to physical home button

Batteries Plus replaces screens. They did my 6+ and did a great job. Screen plus new battery was about $130.

My daughter shattered her screen on an iphone se. I just ordered a new screen on Amazon for $25 and did it myself. Watched a YouTube video and it wasn't very difficult. Not sure if the newer phones are just as easy though. For the se if you can turn a screwdriver you can fix it

Once you get past a 6 I think there is a heat gun involved as well. It gets more difficult. One of my sons did a couple of,screens with the kits off of eBay. They worked fine. The kits come with a few tools for those tiny screws and fasteners.
