Battlefield 4 Pbsvc Exercise

Nope, no problem here. After downloading, did you try restarting BF4 and your pc, to see if that fixes it? Also go to were you have BF4 installed, click and run the pbsvc.exe, and see if this will fix it.

Yes, I did all of those things, plus reinstall PB. None of it worked.
I'm guessing the PB file is antiquated and a global server patch needs to be released, because the server version is older than the one in my files.
Not sure.

Download pbsetup, execute it. Then re-add bf4 to the punkbuster menu. Fixed it for me.

UPDATE:
I tried reinstalling PB and I still get the same issue.
Apparently users are using a different PB version. New DLC servers are using an older or newer version. Something requires a path or update,

this is mostly a server side issue i was able to connect to 14 different servers today EXCEPT MINE.. I got the punk buster issue
i tried every step on my end and after 13 hours ( since 5 am) my host finally fixed it on their end and blamed punkbuster.
Now if you want to try the IN HOME FIX?? i will give it to you here
open
C:Program Files (x86)Origin GamesBattlefield 4
RIGHT CLICK ON pbsvc.exe run as administrator click uninstall
let it finish.
now go to
C:Program Files (x86)Origin GamesBattlefield 4pb
remove the files LEAVE THE FOLDER just delete the files inside
go to
http://www.evenbalance.com/pbsetup.php [evenbalance.com]
download the pbsetup extract it and run it
install for bf4
you will see the folder
C:Program Files (x86)Origin GamesBattlefield 4pb
now has files in it.
REBOOT PC
try to connect to a server and see if you stay connected for more then 5 minutes
if not
right click my computer
manage
services and apps
services
find
PnkBstrA and PnkBstrb
makse sure BOTH are set to started and automatic.
if this does not fix the issue again try to connect to a server that worked fine yesterday
it took me all day to get my server to stop kicking people it again was SERVER SIDE
you can try to connect here as i know i got mine working about 2 hours ago

This EXACT ERROR I WILL POST HERE IS A SERVER ISSUE. IF you get this::

this led a 13 hour struggle with my game host, which I will Not mention, they again blamed punkbuster.. but the issue was finally resolved..
They had to manually update punkbuster SERVER side.
here is the end of the ticket after 13 hours and 43 back and forth as i was telling them it was server side. they finally listened.
Thanks for trying this again. Perhaps the built in update function for PB is failing. In this case, since the files are locked down, I'll need to forward this over to our CEO to manually update the PB files for the server. Please allow some time for his response here
moved server to Chicago and we both still get the issue. don't know how it is set up on the back end but something is wacked. as we can play all day on this
192.223.30.15:25200 which is our other ACGA server with you
moved the server to Chicago, same thing, upgraded server to battlefield hardline played for a bit, swapped server to ATLANTA logged in 4 minutes later KICKED same error, went to 3 other servers no error can play no problem
so something in the server are select files tied to MY PID no mater where I move the server?
anyway this crap has been going on since 3 am it is now 12:39 Pm I have wasted a day trying to get people to play a new map to populate a server that has not happened.
I can again... play the same new map on 14 other servers and not get kicked. Im out of options on my end
We were able to update the base files for PB and I triggered a repair on your server to get those applies. Can you confirm that everything is back to normal now?
Please let your server host know you would like the pb files manually updated. most servers share common game files on the servers and all you are doing is accessing a script that allows you to change a few config files.
This is why one server may be effected but 6 may be not. the server hosts need to have the base game installed for each of their techs.
step 1 should be the tech logging into the CLIENTS game server as a user in game to get the error this would help them troubleshoot an item they are supporting. this missed step 1 is always the case with these new game server hosts. their techs just answer common emails off a help desk and never actually log into a machine and check out the issues.
in my case i had 4 support techs answering the same ticket , it was a mess.
I request also dice?? can we please get a server admin section in the forum already??
